Our History

Sumex started in 2001 providing a wide array of financing and management consulting solutions. We now operate out of two locations in Edmonton and one in Calgary and have expanded our services offering as well. Between 2010 and 2013 we provided large residential brokerages in Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan with commercial mortgage assistance for their residential mortgage brokers. In 2013 the Sumex Capital mortgage brokerage was established to better assist those brokers and to work directly with builders and other Sumex clients. In 2014 we agreed to terms with a subsidiary of Mortgage Alliance to allow Sumex to provide access to the funders and rates that this large national brokerage provides to its clients. Sumex has also added IT consulting and a series of management consulting solutions to its portfolio of business services and continues to work at meeting the needs of its customers.
